("GO-temping") is the sole owner of the information
held on the GO-nursing web site. The nature of our business
means that we will obtain and use (together "Use")
certain personal information on our web site located
at www.go-nursing.co.uk ("the Site"). We will
not however sell, share, or rent this information to
others in ways other than that which is disclosed in
this statement. GO-temping
collects information from you at several different points
on the Site. This statement sets out the principles
governing our Use of your Personal information on the
Site. By using the Site you agree to this Use.
1. Registration
As a nurse, in order to use the Site, you must first
provide registration information and agree to personal
information being held on the Site. During registration
you are required to give certain personal information
(such as name, address and email address). You are additionally
required to give certain information about your professional
qualifications, training and experience, health, and
work preferences. A criminal records disclosure check
is also undertaken and the result held on the site ("Personal
Information").
This Personal Information is available only to authorised
users to access and maintain nurse records and to identify
nurses who are suitably qualified and available to fill
nursing shifts. Nurses are asked to update their Personal
Information at regular intervals.
Authorised users may be employees of GO-temping
or staff within hospitals or elsewhere whose role is
to fill temporary nursing vacancies. An authorised user
is given a personal ID and password in order to access
the information.
Personal Information will be held for a period of
six years after a nurse’s involvement in filling
a temporary vacancy because this is the period during
which legal claims can be brought and records may be
required as evidence.
This Personal Information may also be used to contact
you about the services on the Site, provide you with
information and otherwise for the normal use and improvement
of the Site. If you would like to review or modify any
part of your Personal Information then you should email
us at myinfo@go-temping.co.uk.
2. Subscription
If, in future we offer purchasing opportunities on the
Site, we may request information from you on our subscription
form. You will be required to provide contact information
(like name and billing address) and financial information
(like credit card number, expiration date, VAT or sales
tax information). This information is used for billing
purposes and to fill customer's orders. If we have trouble
processing an order, this Personal Information is used
to get in touch with you.
3. Cookies
We may use cookies on the Site. A cookie is a piece
of data stored on your hard drive containing information
about you. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to
any Personal Information while on the Site. Once you
close your browser, the cookie simply terminates. For
instance, by setting a cookie on the Site, you would
not have to log in a password more than once, thereby
saving time while on the Site. If you reject the cookie,
you may still use the Site. The only drawback to this
is that you may be limited to what you can do in some
areas of the Site. If we offer purchasing opportunities
on the site, some of our business partners may use cookies
(for example, advertisers). However, we have no access
to or control over these cookies.
4. Log Files
To enable us to monitor and improve the Site and analyse
trends, we gather certain aggregated information about
when you use the Site, including details of your computer
and network connection (operating system, browser version,
domain name and IP address, the URL you came from and
go to and the parts of the Site you visit). Details
of where you are calling from (your IP address) are
not associated with your Personal Information.
5. Information Sharing
We may share, transfer or disclose aggregated Personal
Information and aggregated demographic information with/to
our partners and advertisers. We may offer the optional
use of a credit card processing company to bill users
for goods and services. These companies do not retain,
share, store or use Personal Information for any secondary
purposes. We may partner with another party to provide
specific services. When you sign up for these services,
we will share names, or other Personal Information that
is necessary for the third party to provide these services.
These parties are not allowed to use Personal Information
except for the purpose of providing these services.
6. Opting-in and opting-out
You have the opportunity to 'opt-out' of receiving various
communications from us or our partners or affiliates
by sending an email to Optout@GO-temping.co.uk or other
clearly identified email addresses.
7. Links
This privacy statement applies solely to information
collected by this Site. The Site may contain links to
other web sites. Please be aware that we, GO-temping,
are not responsible for the privacy practices of such
other web sites. We encourage our users to be aware
when they leave our Site and to read the privacy statements
of each and every web site that collects Personal Information.
8. Surveys & Contests
From time-to-time the Site may request information from
you via surveys or contests. Participation in these
surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you
therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose this
information. Information requested may include Personal
Information (such as name and address), and demographic
information (such as post code). Personal Information
will be used to notify the winners and award prizes.
Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring
or improving the use and satisfaction of the Site.

This Site takes every precaution to protect our users'
